Shipping Policy
This policy explains how your Piqued Parcels mailings travel from us to you — when they ship, how they arrive, and what happens if something goes sideways along the way. It works alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Where We Ship
We currently ship within the United States only, including U.S. territories where our carriers deliver. We don’t ship internationally yet. If that changes, we’ll update this policy and announce it.
2. When Your Parcels Arrive
Each story arc is delivered as a series of physical mailings — typically two per month across the length of the arc. We aim to send the first mailing of each month early in the month and the second around mid-month, so the rhythm stays in step with the story (and, where applicable, the companion podcast).
A few honest notes about timing:
- Delivery dates are targets, not guarantees. Once a parcel leaves us, its arrival depends on the carrier. Mail moves at the pace mail moves.
- We aim to keep mailings and podcast episodes loosely in sync, but normal postal variation means a letter may land a few days before or after the related episode. The story still reads in order.
- Estimated transit time after dispatch is generally 3–7 business days, depending on your location.
3. Shipping Costs
Shipping within the U.S. depends on the plan you choose:
- Monthly plan: a flat $5 per month shipping charge is added to your subscription.
- Pay-in-full (full-arc) plans: shipping is included— there’s no separate shipping charge.
Your shipping cost, if any, is always shown at checkout before you confirm.
4. Carriers
We prepare and ship using third-party providers, which may include USPS, UPS, FedEx, and other carriers, with labels generated through EasyPost. The carrier for any given mailing depends on your address and the parcel.
5. Keeping Your Address Current
Because we mail on a schedule, an accurate, up-to-date shipping address is the single most important thing you can do to make sure your parcels reach you.
- You can update your address anytime from your account dashboard.
- To make sure a change applies to your next mailing, please update it at least 7 business days before your next scheduled shipment. Changes made after a mailing has been prepared or handed to the carrier can’t be redirected.
- We’re not responsible for parcels delayed, lost, or misdelivered because of an address that was incorrect or out of date at the time of shipment, and a reshipment in that case may be at your cost (see Section 6).
6. If Something Goes Wrong
We want every parcel to arrive in good shape and on time. When it doesn’t, here’s how we handle common situations. For any of these, reach us at help@piqued-parcels.comand we’ll help.
Lost in transit. If tracking shows your parcel never arrived and it isn’t simply running late, contact us within 30 daysof the expected delivery date. We’ll look into it and, where practical, send a reasonable replacement.
Stolen after delivery. If tracking shows a parcel was delivered but it was taken from your mailbox or doorstep, we’ll do our best to help, but we can’t always replace parcels confirmed delivered. We may be able to offer a replacement or store credit on a case-by-case basis.
Damaged. Our parcels are designed to look aged and weathered on purpose — that’s the experience, not a defect. But if a letter or keepsake arrives genuinely damaged in transit (torn through, water-soaked, crushed beyond the intended effect, or with a broken item), contact us within 14 daysof delivery with a photo, and we’ll arrange a replacement of the affected piece where practical.
Undeliverable or returned to us.If a parcel comes back to us as undeliverable (for example, a bad address or an uncollected package), we’ll reach out. We can reship it — reshipping may be at your cost if the return was due to an address issue — or, if you prefer, apply the situation toward our refund/transfer options in the Terms of Service.
Running late.Carrier delays happen, especially around holidays and weather events. We’re not able to control or compensate for delays once a parcel is in the carrier’s hands, but we’re always happy to help you track it down.
7. Risk of Loss and Carrier Hand-Off
We’re responsible for carefully preparing your mailing and getting it to the carrier. Risk of loss for physical items passes to you upon our delivery of the items to the carrier. That said — as Section 6 describes — we’ll still work with you in good faith to make things right when a parcel is lost, damaged, or undeliverable. Defining where our part ends isn’t us stepping back; it’s so you know exactly what we’ll help with and when.
8. Returns, Cancellations, and Refunds
Piqued Parcels are custom-produced and mailed on a schedule, so individual mailings generally can’t be returned. How cancellations and refunds work — including your ability to cancel anytime and, in many cases, to forward the remainder of a subscription to someone else — is covered in our Terms of Service. The short version: you can cancel at any time effective at the end of your current paid period, and refunds are reviewed case by case.
